Track New Head Injury

If there are significant concerns, including any of the red flags listed in box 1 indicating signs that require urgent medical attention, and if a qualified medical practitioner is not present for immediate sideline assessment, then activation of emergency procedures and urgent transport to the nearest hospital should be arranged. The red flags and text are included in this document.
